Trane Commercial Sales
Office Opens in North Charleston, South Carolina, Lowcountry
Region.
Trane, a leading global provider of indoor solutions and services
and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to
celebrate the opening of its new commercial sales and service office
in North Charleston, South Carolina.
R. Keith Summey, mayor of North Charleston, helped welcome the new
office, at 4951 Rivers Avenue, by participating in the ribbon
cutting.
This newest Trane location is part of the Carolinas district, which
has provided nearly 90 years of service to South Carolina and North
Carolina. The office provides sales and service to consulting
engineers, contractors and building owners and managers with a focus
on the Lowcountry region. The new sales and service office will
offer Trane® solutions, controls, services, contracting energy
solutions and rental services.

and we are pleased to provide a more convenient location for valued
customers and future customers in the Lowcountry region,” said Ron

A new Trane Supply
store, located in the same building, also recently opened. Trane
Supply, an Ingersoll Rand brand, is the leading North American
supplier of original equipment manufacturer parts and wholesale
supplies for its residential and commercial heating, ventilation
and air conditioning systems. Trane Supply serves the commercial
and residential contractor market, so the co-located store and
sales office enable commercial contractors to meet their sales,
service, parts and supply needs in one location. The store will
host a grand opening event for commercial and residential
contractors in early 2016.
Committed to sustainability
After outgrowing its previous locations, Trane joined its
commercial sales office and parts businesses under one roof at
4951 Rivers Avenue. Various components of the new location
reflect the Ingersoll Rand commitment to creating safe,
comfortable, and efficient environments. In addition to
featuring highly efficient Trane controls solutions throughout
the building, the location also features:
- Repurposed office furniture (cubicles, conference tables, and
chairs).
- Post-recycled content in drywall, cabinets, ceiling, carpet,
and drywall.
- Recycled glass countertops that come from used bottles and
other glass scrap.- Harvested barn wood from Georgia for
Conference Room wall.
- Local oyster shell for aesthetic treatments associated with
company logo.
